Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO with ENLITEN Technology was crowned the winner of the renowned sport auto 2026 Summer Tyre Test, achieving the highest overall score in both wet and dry conditions.
Bridgestone’s ultra-high-performance (UHP) tyre, tested on a Mazda MX-5 in size 205/45R17, was among the seven tyres evaluated by sport auto and was the only one to receive the magazine’s highest rating, “Outstanding”, with an overall score of 9.2.
The magazine’s test experts praised the Potenza Sport EVO for its exceptionally well-balanced performance. They highlighted its dynamic handling characteristics, describing it as “a very safe yet exceptionally responsive tyre – our undisputed winner.” The team was particularly impressed by its high levels of grip and steering precision under dynamic driving conditions. They further described it as “a highly responsive tyre with strong grip reserves on both wet and dry surfaces,” noting that it “remains perfectly controllable during load changes.”
The new premium tyre from Bridgestone also delivered outstanding wet-weather performance, offering short braking distances, exceptional cornering grip, and strong safety margins against aquaplaning.

These performance improvements are complemented by enhanced durability, with a 15% longer wear life than its predecessor,(1) equivalent to approximately 6,000 additional kilometres.(2) The tyre also improves fuel efficiency and extends the driving range of electric vehicles (EVs) thanks to a rolling resistance reduction of up to 6%.(3)
