Delivering Outstanding Performance, Exceptional Wet Grip and Extended Tyre Life
Bridgestone, a global leader in premium tyres and sustainable mobility solutions, has introduced its new ultra-high-performance tyre: the Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO with ENLITEN Technology. Building on the success of the award-winning Potenza Sport, the new tyre delivers enhanced sporty performance, outstanding wet control, longer tyre life, improved fuel and energy efficiency, and an expanded size range.
The new Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO provides exceptional high-speed control, maintaining vehicle stability on both straight roads and through corners. It also delivers outstanding wet grip, achieving the highest EU tyre label “A” rating. Compared with the award-winning Potenza Sport, it offers a 5% shorter wet braking distance and a 2% shorter dry braking distance.¹
These performance improvements are complemented by a 15% longer wear life than its predecessor,¹ equivalent to approximately 6,000 additional kilometres.² The tyre also improves fuel efficiency and extends the driving range of electric vehicles thanks to a rolling resistance reduction of up to 6%.³

The improvements in both performance and sustainability are made possible by the integration of ENLITEN Technology—Bridgestone’s next-generation tyre technology that is transforming the way tyres are engineered and manufactured. Built on a deep understanding of customer needs, ENLITEN delivers tailored, uncompromised performance while enhancing sustainability. Its integration also ensures that the Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO is fully EV-ready, meeting the specific requirements of both electric vehicles and internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.
For the Potenza Sport EVO, ENLITEN Technology has enabled significant advances in both compound formulation and tyre design. The tyre features a high-stiffness compound that enhances stability during cornering and high-speed manoeuvres. Combined with a dedicated construction incorporating a hybrid crown reinforcement and a rigid carcass, together with a sporty profile featuring asymmetric sidewall angles, the Potenza Sport EVO delivers exceptional high-speed control.
A newly developed tread compound with an optimised filler composition, combined with a carefully engineered groove and tread pattern design, achieves the ideal balance for outstanding wet grip. At the same time, the use of an advanced polymer with enhanced polymer-filler interaction improves wear resistance and extends tyre life.
Developed and manufactured in Europe, the Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO with ENLITEN Technology will be available in 40 more sizes than its predecessor. The EV-ready tyre will be offered in 139 sizes ranging from 17 to 23 inches, covering 92% of the market demand for sport tyres. This expanded range ensures compatibility with a broader selection of high-performance vehicles, regardless of their powertrain.
The launch will take place in two phases. The first phase, comprising 92 sizes, began in January 2026, while the remaining sizes will be introduced throughout 2027. The Bridgestone Potenza Sport EVO with ENLITEN Technology will be available in multiple markets worldwide.
